In science we learned about deforestation. When we cut down trees we are destroying animal homes. The trees give us things but if we cut them down it takes away from the animals. We read the book The Great Kapok Tree and we thought about doing a play. We are making projects to let people know how to stop deforestation and how to stop taking animal homes.
Our play is a very cool one. We made a backdrop. The animals talk to a man in the rainforest. They are upset that he is trying to cut down the tree. The play is based on The Kapok Tree book. I want people to try and stop cutting down the trees. The animals are telling people to stop so they don’t lose their homes. I am a bee in the play. The bee collects pollen and pollinates every tree and flower in the rainforest. All animals have a job to do.
